Hello Piranha Parents,

First, a big thank you to all the parents, guardians, and loved ones who stepped up and volunteered during our Time Trials this past Saturday. We needed lots of help, and you came through for your children and the team. We are off to a great start!

We will need your help again for our B Meet tomorrow night. This will run in a very similar manner as did our Time Trials since we are only swimming against ourselves again. We will need 18 Timers, 4 Stroke & Turn Judges, Table Workers, Data Coordinators, etc. Please sign up through the team’s SwimTopia website at https://mansionhouseclub.swimtopia.com/

Also, this week we will try out afternoon swim for children who cannot make it during the morning swim practices. We have two lanes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm to 6pm. See below for details.

Now, here’s the information for the upcoming week:

Week #4

June 18 – Morning Practice begins (13&Up: 7:30-9am: 9 to 12 yr: 8:45-10 am:

8 & Under: 9:45-10:45am; LPs 10:45-11:30am)

June 18 - B Meet: Inter Squad @ MHC Warm-ups begin at 5pm, Meet begins at 6pm. Children need to be at the pool at 5pm.

June 19, 20 and 21 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) – We will have our first week of afternoon swim practices for the team. This is for children who cannot make it during morning practices. This is a trial run, to see how many children show up. The MHC Board will be taking this up at their next monthly meeting to vote on if we can continue this.

June 22 – Happy Hour 6:30pm (MHC Tennis Court/Parking Lot Area) – come and get your car decorated for the caravan to Sideburn Run for our first A Meet of the season. Let’s get psyched.

June 23 -1^st NVSL dual meet: MHC @ Sideburn Run Caravan Leaves @ 7am. We will all meet in the MHC parking lot between 6:30am and 6:55am to take attendance to ensure all our swimmers are accounted for, and then leave at 7am sharp. Coach Joel and Coach Sean will let the children know who will be swimming in the A Meet this week.
