Volunteer Job Sign-Up
VOLUNTEERING IS PART OF THE COMMITMENT TO JOIN MANSION HOUSE SWIM TEAM. We have a well-deserved reputation as a fun, family-oriented, supportive, and did we mention FUN team. Your volunteer commitment is the backbone of this amazing team vibe.
Volunteer job sign-up should be done on a weekly basis and can be done at the same time you declare your swimmer's meet attendance. This should only take a few minutes of your time. We will send out weekly emails to remind you of the sign-up deadline for volunteers and for swimmers.
The coaches provide the expertise to help your children excel at swimming, but the volunteers help set the tone for a successful season. It takes A LOT of parent volunteers to run a swim team and swim meet. For example, for a normal dual meet, it will take at least 40 adults to properly run the meet. Below is a brief description of the various volunteer positions. In order to easily identify on-deck volunteers, the uniform for the referee, starter, stroke and turn judges, timers, table workers, team reps, and clerks of course is white shirts and blue shorts.
