Piranh-a-thon 2021

Piranha Nation,

Each year the Mansion House Piranhas Swim Team holds a swim-a-thon for a worthy cause. Over the years we have raised money for a variety of different organizations this year was no different. It was great to see some swimmers in the water turning laps on the 4th But we realize not everyone could make it.

Please consider donating to FCAHS. It is our annual way of giving back to the community and a way we attempt to show our young swimmers how as a Swim Team, we also can make a difference in others lives.

Its not to late to give. You can give a cash donation to a Swip Rep, write a check or VENMO to our MHC account @MHCTreasurer  (put Piranh-a-thon 2021 in notes)

Any amount would make a difference in these families' lives.

All of the money raised during our Piranha-thon will go to assist The Fairfax County Adult High School (FCAHS). FCAHS is located at 6815 Edsall Road in Springfield, Virginia. FCAHS offers a High School Equivalency (HSE) Alternative Pathway for adult students who need more than 8 credits to earn a high school diploma. The HSE pathway serves over 200 students in day and evening courses. The courses are designed to assist learners in obtaining the skills necessary to complete the General Education Development credential also known as the GED test. The GED Preparation courses cost students ages 22 and older $80 per semester, or $160 per year.

If you have questions please contact the swim reps.

P4L,

Jeff, Manu and Walt
